Peace Conquers Fear

Peace Conquers Fear

by Lauren Hasson

How are we encountered in His love in the middle of uncertainty right now?  In my time with the Father, I had some decisions that were both significant and time sensitive.  Right now, many of you are also navigating unfamiliar territory that can leave any one of us with feelings of anxiety.  Please read my journal entry and allow His words to pour over you, until His love and security become tangible in your heart.

March 12, 2020  Journal Entry

Father God,

I love you.  Help me in these decisions before me.  I need to hear your clarity, to know how to move forward in wisdom without any fear or anxiety.  Show me what You’re doing right now so that I’m walking with you through these choices.  I don’t want to make any choices out of fear, poverty, lack.  Only You can see what is in my future.  Thank you for helping me right now.

Little One,

I am guiding your heart in peace.  You will know each step of the way, how I am answering you in each and every decision.  Move forward only in peace.  Don’t allow time constraints to pressure you.  Don’t allow fear of loss to motivate you.  I am speaking to you in these ways that seem to be colliding all at the same time.  I am making a way through for you.

It is in these times of the greatest perceived chaos that I alone can bring order.  As you trust in Me for each specific answer, I will breathe life into what I am doing.  If there isn’t life to it, let it go.  I am opening up pathways of pleasure, for your heart and mine.  I create spaces for you to hear Me in fullness.  If you don’t have a complete answer, wait on Me until you do.  It is in this process that I am showing you how much I love you and am creating new ways of knowing Me.  I will give you the grace to both press into Me, and the grace to hear past your mind and your emotions.  I am able to move mountains for you.  Love those in the decision process.  Be aware of any amount of static.  When you feel this, stop and realign with Me.

As you seek Me, I will always guide you into the fullness that I have already prepared for you.  Be at rest, Little One.  You are mine.  I have all.  Fear can never conquer you, because I already have.  I have it all.  I am driving out uncertainty.  I love how you think and walk through this with Me.  This is one of the gifts that My children are giving to others right now, the ability to be anchored in Me.

I love you.

Your Loving Papa

The Good Shepherd  Psalm 23
The Passion Translation (observations in italics)

The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.[b]
I always have more than enough.

You are with me as my friend and companion.
You
provide for me, beyond what is necessary.

He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love.[c]
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss.[d]
That’s where he restores and revives my life.[e]

You are opening up time and space for me to rest with you.  You are calling me to be with you, in this quiet place that is spacious.  It is when we’re together that you restore me, reviving all aspects of my life.  You are calling me away to hear Your voice above all others.  You are taking care of my innermost being.

He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure
and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness[f]
so that I can bring honor to his name.

You are showing me precisely where to go.  Your path for me, your direction for my life is full of Your pleasure.  As we walk together in greater joy, I can honor who You are as a good God.

Lord, even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way.

In the hardest, most unbearable places, the places where I can’t begin to see where to go next, You are with me.  Fear can’t take me down.  It cannot conquer me with its lies and false visions for my future, because only one person can own me.... and that’s YOU!
Thank You for being closer than I can begin to understand.  You are holding my hand, showing me the next steps to take, making sure I am safe as we travel together.

Your authority is my strength and my peace.[g]

I call on Your complete authority for my strength and my peace.  Right now, as I feel unsettled, I am asking You to remove all anxiety.  I call on Your authority to drive the enemy away from before me.  I’m asking for You to be strong for me where I feel weak.  I’m asking for Your peace to come in and help me.

The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.

Let me feel you right now.  I’m waiting until I am encountered by Your love.  I’m not lonely.  You are taking me to new places in your love. Places I have never known.

You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;[h]
you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.

The enemy of sickness and disease will not define me, nor my family, my church, my city.  I am feasting on the truth of who You are.  I’m calling on you to feast in joy and hope in the middle of this battle.  I can only do this through you.  Anoint me with the beauty of Your Holy Spirit.  Allow the enemy to smell Your love smeared over me so that he flees from me, my family, my life.
So why would I fear the future?
For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life.

Thank you for pursuing me with goodness.  You are chasing me down with every gift for my heart, every kindness, every satisfying relationship, it is all coming to me through your loving heart towards me.

Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!

You are keeping my life secure in your hands until it is completed.  You will come for me in a new way, returning me to the places of heaven that I’ve yet to explore.
